School Recreational

Start early, have fun with friends & classmates, learn the fundamentals of the game, and play again next year.

Starting in Kindergarten - 6th grade. Players will learn the basics of basketball, have fun participating in the game, experience competition, with options to continue playing in the winter.

Kindergarten - 2nd Grade:

Register as an individual through the HYL website on Crossbar.

Team Formation:

  • Teams are formed based on the players attending grade school.
  • We encourage parents to coordinate teams among classmates and find volunteer coaches to lead the team.

Practice: 1 x week at the teams attending or nearby grade school.

Games: Saturdays only. 6 total.

  • Week 1: November 1st
  • Week 2: November 8th
  • Week 3: November 15th
  • Week 4: November 22nd
  • Week 5: December 6th
  • Week 6: December 13th.

  • Week 4: November 22nd
  • Week 5: December 6th
  • Week 6: December 13th & 14th (Final Four).
