HYL and Spokane AAU have updated to a longer tournament season. The goal is to expand local and affordable playing opportunities for any team (HYL, AAU, club, etc) to increase the number of total games played in a variety of formats. Establishing and growing a tournament season brings an immediate benefit to the competitive teams that historically played AAU and to the newly formed HYL teams.

Please note for all Hooptown Tournaments:

• Registration for all three Hooptown Tournaments opens September 5, 2025.
• New this season, teams have the option to register for all three tournaments at once, or one at a time like in the past.
• All tournaments are team registrations. Coaches must form teams prior to registering.
• Grades: 3rd - 8th grade.
• Cost: $450 (per team)
• A player may play up a grade level but cannot play below his or her grade level.
• A player may only be rostered on one team for the tournament.
• Hooptown does not charge a gate fee for spectators. You may attend any game at any facility throughout the weekend.
• This tournament is a qualifier for the Washington State Championship scheduled for March 2026 (Girls: March 13-15 and Boys: March 20-22).
